Shaniel Lewis is developing a broad practice in banking and financial services. She has experience with domestic and cross-border financings, providing support to both Canadian and international clients. A member of the Financial Services practice group, she joined as a summer student and completed her articles at the firm.

During her legal studies, Shaniel worked as a research assistant for the Associate Dean of Students, where her work on anti-Black racism within the legal context was instrumental in revising the Osgoode first year curriculum. Additionally, she worked as a caseworker at Community & Legal Aid Services Program, a legal clinic on campus, and served as the Community Outreach Officer for the Osgoode chapter of the Black Law Students’ Association.

Shaniel holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Justice Studies from the University of Guelph-Humber.
