Jeff Rogers is a highly regarded banking and finance lawyer who leads complex domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions. His clients include major Canadian and foreign financial institutions, private equity funds and borrowers involved in domestic and cross-border transactions.

A leading expert in asset-based and syndicated lending, Jeff has significant experience in leveraged acquisitions, tender offer financing, high yield financing, debtor-in-possession (DIP) lending and subordinated debt.

Jeff is recognized by Chambers Canada (2021) as a leading lawyer in banking and finance and by Best Lawyers in Canada (2021) as a leading lawyer in asset-based lending and banking and finance law. He is a national leader of the firm’s Asset Finance & Secured Lending Group.

Widely published in his area of expertise, Jeff is co-author of the Canadian chapter of the 2020 edition of the International Comparative Legal Guide to: Lending and Secured Finance. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences and client in-house training programs on financial transactions and secured lending.
