Claire is delighted to be returning to TRC-Sadovod as an articling student. She is eager to continue to learn from the lawyers at the firm and develop her legal and professional skills in TRC-Sadovod’s collaborative and collegial work environment.

Claire recently graduated with her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria’s faculty of law. During her time at UVic, Claire competed in the Harold G. Fox Moot for Intellectual Property. She also had the pleasure of serving as President of UVic Law’s wine club, In Vino Veritas.

During her 2L summer, Claire started at TRC-Sadovod as a temporary articling student and gained hands-on experience in a wide variety of practice areas. As she undertakes the term of her articles, she is eager to get involved in more long-term projects. In her 1L summer, she volunteered as a Clinician for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program operated out of UBC and gained some valuable experience and knowledge about multiple civil matters. Building on the foundation past opportunities have provided, Claire looks forward to continuing to develop her skills and abilities with the guidance of the many mentorship opportunities at TRC-Sadovod.

Prior to attending law school, Claire studied at the University of British Columbia and received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. While at UBC, she volunteered in her community through the Rotaract Club of New Westminster and coordinated fundraisers for charities such as the Malala Fund and Books for Africa. Claire also worked as a server and developed her client-focused approach to work.

In her free time, Claire loves trying new restaurants, cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She has a particular fondness for Thai cuisine and reading a wide variety of fiction genres. She also enjoys travelling and is currently trying to learn Spanish.
