Toronto’s anti-pesticide bylaw upheld
The Lawyers Weekly, June 3, 2005
The Ontario Court of Appeal has upheld the City of Toronto’s pesticide bylaw, which bans the use of chemical pesticides on private property.  Justice Kathryn Feldman held that Toronto has authority under s. 130 of the Municpal Act (MA) to enact the bylaw.
