Helping Your Workplace Navigate the Legalization of Marijuana

The impending legalization of recreational cannabis on October 17, 2018, presents uncharted territory for employers in Canada. Individuals will soon have the ability to buy, use, grow, and possess cannabis. As a result, employers have numerous questions about what these legislative changes mean for their workplaces.

In addition to being prepared in advance of October 17, 2018, employers should be cognizant of the changing legal landscape and keep apprised of any updates or changes in  federal and provincial legislation post-legalization.
