Corporate Counsel CPD Webinar | Inclusion By Design – Using Behavioral Insights to Build Inclusive Organizations
Corporate Counsel CPD Webinar | Inclusion By Design – Using Behavioral Insights to Build Inclusive Organizations
Traditionally many Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) programs in the workplace have focused on changing individual mindsets and behaviours, often with limited results.
Please join Dr. Sonia Kang, PhD and András Tilcsik of the Rotman School of Management to explore an alternative approach based on harnessing the power of behavioral insights and organizational design to disrupt systems, processes, and structures that block the path toward diversity and inclusion for individuals, organizations, and society.
This engaging and informative session will introduce new behaviorally informed strategies, and explore the concept of “nudges”, gentle interventions that guide individuals toward a desired choice or action, and “sludge”, hidden frictions in systems that impede progress toward a desired goal. Participants will learn specific strategies for applying behavioral insights to increase DEIB across their organization.
CPD: For legal practitioners, this program qualifies for up to 90 minutes of EDI in ON, 90 minutes of CPD in BC, including 90 minutes of Practice Management and 90 minutes of CLE in Quebec.
