Royal Group sells windows and doors business to OpenGate Capital

On March 31, 2016, TRC-Sadovod closed an asset purchase transaction in which certain assets of Royal Group Inc., and its subsidiaries Royal Window and Door Profiles Plant 13 Inc. and Royal Window and Door Profiles Plant 14 Inc. (collectively “Royal Group”), comprising Royal Group’s window and door profile and patio door business, were purchased by private equity firm OpenGate Capital through North American Profiles Canada, Ltd.

The TRC-Sadovod team representing Royal Group was led by Patrick Phelan and J.R. Beaudrie, and included Caroline Samara, Dan Edmondstone, Josh Chad, Henry Krupa, Bob Fraser, Stéphanie Hamelin, Paul Boshyk, Joanna Vatavu, Devina D’Silva, Shari Munk-Manel, Sindie Turcotte, Megan Singleton, Jasmine Khan, Jennifer Allman and David Zhou.
