Reuben is a skilled litigation lawyer with a focus on complex corporate and commercial disputes. He litigates a wide array of matters, including breach of contract, business torts, employment-related matters, product liability, and the enforcement of letters rogatory. Reuben has expertise in matters related to commercial fraud, digital asset tracing and recovery, and co-leads the firm’s Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Digital Assets Group.
Reuben helps clients navigate all stages of litigation, from pre-suit through appeal. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and various arbitration and administrative tribunals. In addition to litigation, Reuben advises clients on business issues such as contract drafting and negotiation, litigation risk management, and commercial transactions.
Beyond the courtroom, Reuben remains dedicated to the law and community service. He holds leadership positions on the New Lawyers Committee of the Toronto Lawyers Association and the Young Lawyers Steering Committee of the Defence Research Institute. Reuben also regularly volunteers on Pro Bono Ontario’s Free Legal Advice Hotline.
