Nicholas Yanakis is developing a broad legal practice in commercial real estate that includes the acquisition and disposition of real property, commercial leasing, financing and secured lending.
Nicholas assists clients in purchase or sale transactions, financings and leasing matters. During his legal studies, Nicholas acted as president of the University of Montréal chapter of a national student membership organization dedicated to the ideas and ideals of constitutionalism, liberty and the rule of law. In addition, he volunteered in multiple Pro Bono projects such as the Canadian Civil Liberties Association and the Association for the Rights of Household Workers.
Before joining the firm, Nicholas worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Montréal in constitutional law.
