Émile Catimel-Marchand maintains a thriving practice in financial services, focusing on restructuring and insolvency law.

He works primarily on complex Canadian, cross-border and international proceedings and financings, in which he acts for corporations, lenders and insolvency professionals. He has represented clients at all levels of Canadian courts, including multiple appearances at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Émile also has a vast experience advising client on in complex regulatory matters and regimes applicable when carrying on business in Québec, including consumer protection law, consumer finance and French language requirements.
