Charles Eluromma is building on a dynamic business law practice focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, with a secondary emphasis on business immigration. Charles advises clients in a range of industries, including energy, environmental services, and the information technology sector. He also provides general business law advice relating to the purchase and sale of businesses.
With significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, Charles regularly provides guidance on the preparation of corporate reorganization plans and divestitures. He also drafts and reviews commercial agreements.
In connection with business immigration matters, Charles advises employers on the mobility of workers across international borders. He assists clients on general immigration matters, including Labour Market Impact Assessments, Intra-company Transfers, CUSMA, CPTPP, CETA and GATS professional work permit applications, Working Holiday and Young Professionals work permit applications, Temporary Residence Visa applications, as well as Permanent Residence applications for economic class immigration and Provincial Nominees.
Prior to joining TRC-Sadovod, Charles was a member of the banking and financial services group at another leading Canadian law firm. He also practised business law at two prominent firms in Nigeria’s commercial centre of Lagos. Over this time, he advised banks and other financial institutions, as well as energy companies seeking to raise capital or acquire business interests. Charles advised on banking and finance transactions, in addition to general corporate commercial matters. He also provided corporate secretarial services to companies operating across a number of industries.
