“The truth is hard; reconciliation is harder.” — The Honourable Murray Sinclair

In December 2015, Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) released its 6-volume report, which included 94 “calls to action” (or recommendations) to further reconciliation between Canadians and Indigenous peoples. Since then there have been many conversations about what Canadians can and should be doing to respond to the calls to action.

Join us for a special event on Wednesday, December 8, from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time to hear The Honourable Murray Sinclair, the first Indigenous judge on the Manitoba Bench, former Canadian Senator, and former Chief Commissioner of the TRC as he talks about the TRC’s report, what it will take for reconciliation and how members of the legal profession and business community can play a part in moving reconciliation forward.

This program qualifies for up to 1 EDI Hour in ON, 1 Ethics/Practice Management Hour in BC, and 1 CLE Hour in QC.
