Rathdowney Resources Ltd Completes Qualifying Transaction Begins Trading Common Shares on TSX V and Finalizes 34 Million Private Placement

On March 17, 2011, Rathdowney Resources Ltd. completed its qualifying transaction in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange policy and the Company’s common shares began trading, as a Tier 1 Issuer, on the TSX Venture Exchange.

Further, as part of the qualifying transaction, a non-brokered private placement financing of 34,283,550 common shares of the company was completed at a price per common share of $1.00 for total gross proceeds of $34,283,550.
